Big isn’t always better
This special edition semi-custom Bird & Trout takes this mightly little hunting knife and adds a unique touch to the scales. Quantity 1 of 1, this knife was made in our shop with Maple Burl.
The Outfitter’s little brother might be smaller in stature but bigger isn’t always better. Small and lightweight, the Bird and Trout excels where space is limited and exacting accuracy is a necessity.
Precision design, field-tested
The leaf-like blade shape gives the knife an unrivaled point, making it easy to puncture the toughest of skin with surgical precision. The Bird and Trout really outclasses the field when skinning smaller animals (rabbit, muskrats, beaver) and caping big game heads due to the 2.64” blade length. Design and ergonomics are always at the forefront of our designers’ minds when developing a knife from the ground up. Countless hours are spent fine-tuning and reworking the design until it has the desired natural feel in the hand. In addition to our designers’ efforts, our knives are then field-tested by Jackson Hole’s finest anglers, hunters, and trappers to ensure they meet our highest production and in-the-field standards. The lightly curved and tapered handle gives an exceptional grip when the knife is upside down gutting a trout or right side up breasting out a grouse.

Key Features
Knife Art
The Teton Edge Santoku represents a revolution in the history of blade design. The "Edge" replaces the traditional santoku "dimples" with an etched semblance of the Teton Mountain range.
High Performance
As with the dimples, the etching helps the blade slice smoothly through food without sticking- but the Teton Edge does it even better.
American Made
G-Fusion handles are made with G10: an aerospace-grade, fiberglass epoxy composite material that is virtually bomb-proof.
