Marketing Coordinator - Full Time | Corporate

Reports to: Sr. Marketing Manager

New West KnifeWorks is growing at an accelerated pace and looking for an exceptional individual to grow with us. Our Marketing Coordinator will be expected to quickly understand the systems we currently have in place and be ready to adapt as we grow and evolve to more sophisticated ones. NWKW’s Marketing Department is a creative and daring bunch with audacious goals and ideas-- and we’re looking for the right taskmaster with excellent time/project management skills to assist with keeping things organized.

About you:

  • Experience with eCommerce and social media marketing
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Tech-savvy and proficient with various software systems. Familiarity with the following is ideal: Shopify, Klaviyo, Lightspeed, Google Workspace, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads
  • Enthusiasm for creating and maintaining orderly systems
  • Willingness to wear many hats as part of a growing organization
  • Passionate about connecting customers with USA-made artisan tools
  • Finding joy in good food, culinary endeavors, outdoor pursuits, or responsible hunting and fishing is a plus!

What you’ll do:

Work with our Sr. Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager to get trained up and run with the tasks and projects below. This role has room to grow and the opportunity to contribute creatively on our small and dynamic team. 

  • Website Content Management & Copywriting
    • Product and info page formatting for consistency and proofreading
    • Content additions (press mentions, chef reviews, blog posts, new products)
    • Customer order notes review (seek marketing relationship opportunities)
  • File & Asset Management
    • Youtube channel organization & optimization
    • Product photo library organization
  • Social Media Community Management
    • Community engagement
    • Micro influencer relationship building
  • Retail Store Marketing Assistance
    • Local professional organization relationship building 
    • Tomahawk event program marketing
    • Local sale or event marketing via media partners 
    • In-store signage update assistance
  • Baseline Performance Reporting
    • Email sign-up reporting
    • Select web performance tracking
