Location: Victor, ID or Jackson, WY
Reports to: COO
Compensation:
Base: $60,000
Incentive Package: $15,000 - $20,000
General Summary

The Human Resources Manager is the go-to person for all employee-related work including job design, recruitment, employee relations, training & development, and payroll processing and compliance. As part of this job, you’ll be asked to ensure that we have the culture, systems, and processes in place to support employee satisfaction and NWKWs best practices. You will be our first HR employee and will have the chance to shape the future of this growing organization.
NWKWs Human Resources Manager Attributes:
- 4-5+years of experience in HR
- PHR or SHRM- CP preferred
- People oriented and results driven
- Lives and breathes nuance and attention to detail
- Reads labor laws and HR best practices for fun
- Enjoys getting people paid what they are owed each and every pay period
- Willingness to wear many hats as part of a growing organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- A self described life-long learner
Essential Job Functions
- Recruit, interview, hire, and help train new team members
- Onboard and offboard all employees
- Create job descriptions for all filled and open positions
- Manage payroll and benefits for all employees
- Develop and and implement HR policies and procedures for the organization
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues, support performance management initiatives
- Develop, design, and implement training materials for company departments in line with company’s mission and values
- Focus on culture, nurture a positive working environment for all employees
- Improve upon payroll and benefits programs and processes
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Organize and maintain employee documentation and accessibility
- Experience in retail environment, a plus
