Location: Victor, Idaho
Compensation: Training period - $18/hr. Pay Per Piece after training (equivalent to $20-$30/hr).
New West KnifeWorks and MTN MAN Toy Shop make up America’s premier knife cutlery boutique. NWKW is looking for the right candidates to assemble some of the world’s finest cutlery in our recently built out production facility in Teton Valley, ID. This position is essential to NWKW - join our team and learn how our reputation for durability and design became second to none.

What you’ll do:
- Become familiar with production parts and finished products.
- Arrange machines and test before work to ensure proper operation.
- Process knife parts in preparation for assembly.
- Use epoxy and rivet press to assemble knives.
- Shape knives by hand using abrasive belt sanders, achieving products to specifications.
- Quality control, clean, and turn in finished goods.
- Document finished work and weekly progress.
- Operate in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure timely preparation and availability of all production materials to avoid shortage during production.
- Report to supervisor(s) regularly, keeping them updated on production activities and progress.
- Ensure cleanliness of the production facility.

New West KnifeWorks applies a PPK (Pay Per Knife) compensation for this position. This system is based on minimum production quotas to ensure a flexible schedule.
